The cast loop on this Ice Fishing listing

I sat with the Pixel Fishing Quest card, not with a build. The cast, as the listing describes it, is a tap. The lagoon still makes that literal: “Tap Cast to fish!”

What the description puts on the line

Locations run from lakes to oceans. The feature list says more than 20 species; an earlier sentence says hundreds. I am keeping both numbers because the card prints both, and I will not average them. Each fish is said to have a look, a rarity, and a value. Catches can be sold for coins. Coins buy rods and bait. The coin packs on the purchase list are 100, 300, 600, and 900 coins.

What one fight still adds

The underwater frame is not a paragraph in the description. It shows a depth scale, a time, a strain percentage, and the buttons Ready and Release. The instruction on that frame is “Tap Ready to charge your cast”. That is a second gesture after the tap on Cast. I have not timed it.

Bait, as the card splits it

Free bait is ad-supported and needs a connection. Premium bait is described as ad-free and usable offline. The top bar on the map stills shows a worm count and a shrimp count sitting next to the coins. I am not going to assign those icons to the two bait products; the card does not make that mapping.

Where this Ice Fishing note stops

The heading on the skiff is Ice Fishing. The cast on the card is open water in pixel art, starting at a Florida lagoon. If you want the binary, it is on the App Store. More notes are on the log.
